Kevin Durant shuts up Kyrie Irving bashers
Dubbed as championship favorites a few months ago, the Brooklyn Nets are dismal at this point in time. They are currently in a brutal losing streak and are without their star players. Kevin Durant is out with an injury and is expected to stay out for some time. On the other hand, James Harden has joined the Philadelphia 76ers and Kyrie Irving is unable to play home matches.
The media has found an easy scapegoat according to Durant. And it is none other than Kyrie Irving. Addressing the unfair criticism of Irving, Durant gave a brutal reply.

He said, “Kyrie has always been an easy scapegoat for everybody, especially for the media and the fans, they love to use him as a scapegoat for a lot of problems. So it’s easy to blame him.”

Irving is being bashed mercilessly recently and Durant puts the record straight as he expects no unfair treatment to his teammate.
Why is Irving being blamed?
Ever since the James Harden trade to the Philadelphia 76ers, Kyrie Irving has taken all the blame. Multiple reports have claimed that Irving is the reason why Harden had asked for a trade in the first place.

A report claimed that Harden would feel weird due to the burning of incense sticks by Irving in the locker room. That’s one of the reasons why Harden asked for a trade.
However, the main reason according to reports is Irving’s vaccination status. Irving recently responded to a user calling him a “weirdo anti-vaxxer”.
Orrrrr regardless of anything I am set up for the rest of my life and so are the next 7 generations of family members that come after. I did this all before turning 30, so I love being a weirdo lol
