KD’s latest tweet has a message for his haters. The tweet read, “Knew I needed love but I think I value the hate more…“.

Durant means to say how hate drives him more than anything and he values it more than love. He has never been shy about engaging with critics, analysts, and even fans.
NBA players don’t usually care about online rankings by sports websites; Durant is an exception. Sports Illustrated released a list of 100 best players of 2014 in which James Harden was left out. Durant suggested how Harden could take the place of Dwyane Wade in the number 8 spot, which resulted in the two players having an argument.

Durant vs Michael Rapaport:
This was probably the worst fight in Kevin Durant’s career. He got into an ugly online fight with actor Michael Rapaport, which resulted in a lot of criticism for the player.
Rapaport posted a series of screenshots on Twitter in which we can see Kevin Durant threatening the actor. This action of Durant forced him to issue a public apology towards Rapaport.

Durant even went all the way to challenge Rapaport to a fistfight on the streets of New York City. According to the screenshots, the altercation started when Rapaport criticized Durant’s post-game interview. Kevin Durant confirmed the authenticity of the messages in a tweet, then made an attempt to calm the situation down in Rapaport’s Instagram comments, by writing: “my bad I apologize”.
