This iconic outing by James not only had fans going crazy but even Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant couldn?t help but praise ?The King.?
LeBron James turned 38 on the day of the Hawks matchup. But it seemed as if James was able to turn back the clock with numerous dunks and bullying his way into the paint to will his team to victory.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 130-121. And it was majorly due to LeBron James going off for a season-high 47 points in the 40 minutes he played in the game. James shot an identical 66.7% from the field and beyond the arc.
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant went onto Twitter to praise ?The King? for his scoring outburst, that too on his birthday. Durant tweeted, ?Masterful 47 I just watched, Lebron James. Masterful?GGz.?

James was determined throughout the game, not letting up at any given moment. He sank multiple three-pointers to keep his team in the mix. ALso, it was James just dunking the ball like his good old days.

It did not seem like LeBron had turned 38 seeing the way he played against the Hawks. Still, without Anthony Davis, James took it upon himself to deliver a victory for his team.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have been the center of criticism since the start of the season. Some of that scrutiny had faded when Anthony Davis took over the scoring and became the team?s first option on offense.
But the way James has been playing in the absence of Davis has been nothing but commendable. ?The King? almost ended the night with a triple-double, scoring 47 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists for the game.
