Kevin Durant has established himself as one of the best active NBA stars in the league. The Brooklyn Nets forward is known for his composure and brilliance on the court. Recently, the 12-time All-Star made a number of revelations during a quick-fire question round, sharing sundry details, like his favorite shot, practice drills, movies, and other preferences. During the round, KD made a surprising pick for the nicest teammate he has ever played with, despite playing with the likes of Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, and Russell Westbrook.
KD has played alongside some of the best modern-time greats in the league, winning two NBA championships. Yet, he chose none of them as the most nicest teammate ever. In fact, his pick might come as a surprise to his fans. He named one of his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates for the category and surprisingly it is not Russell Westbrook.

The Nets forward replied, “Nazr Mohammed.” Durant named his former Oklahoma teammate Mohammed for the nicest teammate category. The 2005 NBA champ played with Durant twice during the 2011-12 season and later in 2016 at OKC.
Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook was Durant’s teammate from 2008-2016 at Oklahoma. The duo made it to the playoffs on five occasions and also made it to the Finals in 2011-12. But, unfortunately, KD and Westbrook faced disappointment during the Finals series.
Moreover, Durant moved on from Oklahoma in 2016 to join Stephen Curry at the Golden State Warriors. The 2014 MVP won two straight championships with Curry in 2017 and 2018. However, Durant shockingly left the Warriors in 2019 to team up with Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. The Nets duo has been effective in leading Brooklyn to the playoffs in the last three seasons. However, they are yet to win a championship together.
But, despite having some of the highly talented stars as teammates over the years, Kevin Durant preferred Nazr Mohammed as the nicest teammate he has ever had.

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have been hunting for a championship with the Nets since 2019. Both the stars surprised the league with the shocking decision to leave their championship-winning teams with superstars like LeBron James and Stephen Curry. However, they still continue to toil in search of a championship with no fruitful results so far.
Luckily for the Nets, Irving and Durant have done well recently as Brooklyn currently stands fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 21-12 record. KD is averaging 29.9 PPG while Irving is scoring 25.8 per game.
