Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most outspoken personalities in NBA history. His knack for pulling no punches has sometimes resulted in unnecessary feuds with players and coaches. Despite this, O’Neal has received the fans’ love and support on many occasions. Recently, Shaq got into a Twitter spat with Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant. It’s safe to say that the Los Angeles Lakers legend didn’t hold back while replying to Durant.

Similarly to O’Neal, Durant is a very straightforward person as well. However, his latest comment on Shaq caused mayhem on Twitter and forced the big man to reply. After O’Neal had made a statement claiming he wasn’t aware of who the new Lakers addition, Rui Hachimura was, Durant questioned his game knowledge. “Shaquille doesn’t know ball?“, Durant replied on a Twitter post about O’Neal’s comments on Hachimura.

O’Neal had a fitting reply to Durant’s tweet and he went in hard on KD. While Shaq replied to a different Tweet, his intentions were pretty clear.

Shaq has criticized Kevin Durant previously

This wasn’t the first occasion that O’Neal made his feelings about Durant clear. A few months ago, O’Neal doubled down on Charles Barkley’s comment that Kevin Durant’s career outside Golden State is an “abject failure.”

O’Neal claimed that KD “piggybacked” his way to two championships with the Warriors. Even before that, Durant was blasted by Shaq for not winning any championships. O’Neal had stated that Durant couldn’t talk to him until he had won a championship. Following this, Durant won his first championship and was named the Finals MVP as well.
