There is no doubt that the NBA season is quite long, but so is the off-season break. As a result of this, the players get a lot of spare time to follow their passion aside from playing on the hardwood. Similarly, Kevin Durant’s ex-teammate, who is also a former NBA champion, followed his passion for music and got quite a lot of success this year. However, he was quite surprised when he found that his debut album didn’t make it into KD’s top five album list for the year. Now, this might surprise fans a bit, but Kevin Durant apologized to his ex-teammate by dragging in the example of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
The former teammate in question is none other than the Milwaukee Bucks forward, Serge Ibaka. Apart from locking down defenders and collecting rebounds on the hardwood, Ibaka also makes music and successfully has created a lot of hype for his debut album ‘ART’ which dropped a couple of months back. The fans loved the album upon its release. Therefore, Ibaka jokingly expressed his surprise when it didn’t make it into KD’s list of top 5 albums.

Durant is an avid pop music fan and recently shared his top five albums of 2022, which included popular artists like Drake, Kodak Black, and 21 Savage. However, it seemed like that KD was not informed about Ibaka’s debut album, ‘ART’.
Therefore the Spaniard himself reminded him by saying, “Hey easy money! How can you forget to put ART on ? Lol”? Following Ibaka’s inquiry, the 34-year-old acknowledged his mistake and apologized to him using the hilarious Shaq meme. “I owe you an apology. I wasn’t aware of your game,” Durant tweeted, citing Shaq’s remarks to Christian Wood during a post-game interview.
