Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets took on the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday. The Nets were on a four-game losing streak and they looked to get back on track with a win. Durant would’ve been glad that he didn’t have to take the Hornets all alone, as Kyrie Irving returned for the away game.
Kyrie put on a show as he finished with a season-high 50 points. He had a field day as he went 15-19 from the field and an outrageous 9-12 from three-point range. This was easily Irving’s best performance of the season. Surprisingly, Durant had a quiet outing as he finished with 14 points in 40 minutes of action.

That was highly unusual from Durant as he was once leading the league in scoring. But they got the win despite his off night. However, Durant ended the night with a bang as got back at a fan who mocked him for his performance.
Kevin Durant mocks fan in a viral tweet
With Durant scoring only 14 points, many bettors were aggrieved with him. Durant has been averaging 29 points a game all season long, and many didn’t expect KD to have an off night. One fan called KD out as well on Twitter. He said,?“I want Kevin Durant prosecuted immediately after this game.”

Durant is always active on Twitter and he responds to almost everyone. He’s not shy about telling what he feels as well. And most of the time, he backs it up with his game. But sometimes even the best can have off days. But you better not talk about it to Durant, as he will burn you on the court and off it as well.
