For his career, Durant averages 4.3 assists a game. It is nothing to write home about as he has a career PPG of 27.2. He can hurt any defense with his deadly shooting. Teams often find it difficult to stop him from scoring when he wants to because he is so good at creating shots for himself.
Over the past few seasons, KD has become a much better facilitator as well than he was early in his career.
Durant, the playmaker
Ever since he joined the Brooklyn Nets, Kevin Durant has become a really good passer of the ball. It can be contributed to the fact that he played for four years with the Golden State Warriors, one of the NBA’s greatest ball rotation teams ever. KD claps back at a fan
Durant’s greatest ability is to score. He is one of the greatest offensive players to have ever played the game. But sometimes fans feel there is still something missing in his game when compared to guys like LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic.
In a Twitter thread, one fan insisted that Durant is not as good a playmaker as the names mentioned above. KD responded and was seemingly confused.
It’s a lot of buzz words in basketball that confuse me, like leadership and Playmaking. Can I get a definition please?? https://t.co/sxk5y3gfq4

The fan then tried to explain to Kevin Durant what double teaming is.
Like passing out of a double and making the defense pay for sending that double at you. C'mon Kev youre way smarter than this. Just bc it's something you struggle with doesn't mean it's a "buzz word"

Durants clapped back saying he doesn’t agree with the take and, “I don’t believe I struggle with anything basketball related”.
