Apart from winning titles and leading the team, Durant’s scoring ability is often compared to Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and other greats. Talent can be compared with style and skill. Though when it comes to numbers, the Celtics’ all-time great has his numbers better than KD.

Durant is one of the most active social media users in the NBA. Recently, a few replies to a tweet caught Durant’s attention. The tweet shares a video of Larry Bird’s numbers being compared to Durant’s. This tweet was followed by a few replies that called out Kevin, to which he added a surprising reply.

Durant gets called out by fans a lot, especially on Twitter. He loves interacting with his fans on social media, as he never misses replying to controversial and appreciative comments on him. Though one might wonder who between Kevin and Larry is better.

He once injured his back while shoveling crushed rocks, which remained a problem for the rest of his career. Bird averaged 27 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 6 assists on 51% shooting in his peak years, from 1983 to 1988.

Larry was an excellent three-point shooter, which most people approve of by bringing up the three-point contest. Bird won the three-point contest in 1988, wearing his warmup jacket.

It wouldn’t be appropriate to claim the better player now as KD still has quite a few seasons left. Larry spent quite some time dealing with injuries. Had he not broken his back, he could’ve played a few more seasons.
