Ben Simmons has been through all this season. The Philadelphia 76ers expressed their desire to trade him for James Harden in the offseason after the 2020-21 season. Ever since then, it has been all downhill for Ben Simmons. The 24-year-old then had the worst season in terms of numbers as compared to his other three in the league.
After it was out in the open that the 76ers wanted to trade Harden, it was tough for Simmons to carry out playing for the team. The move in the offseason could not transpire and Harden joined the Brooklyn Nets instead. It was only a matter of months when the 76ers finally got their man and had Harden on the roster in February. But all this meant struggles for Ben Simmons.

It was not a warm welcome from the 76ers fans for Simmons. And understandably so, he refused to play for the team for his mental health reasons and then sustained a back injury, which still keeps him on the sidelines.
The Nets fans are also ?fed up? while waiting to see Simmons in action. Many reports have suggested that he has started doing extensive work on his fitness, playing 3v3 or 4v4, and things were looking positive. However, nothing has progressed, and he is still nowhere near his return.

?Ben Simmons has officially completed the biggest heist in NBA history. He really sat out an entire season! Carry on?? a frustrated Tweet from the former Boston Celtics player.
To put things in perspective?
There’s Fred Vanvleet who’s playing with a bum knee AND bum hip. There’s Doncic who ALWAYS plays despite an injured ankle. There’s Seth Curry who has been playing through ankle pain ALL SEASON. There’s Irving who’s playing while he’s fasting…. Then we have Simmons, a disgrace

Ben Simmons? was actually rated by a lot of experts, analysts and NBA legends as well, but the track of his career as of right now has not been impressive, to say the least.
It is understandable that he is suffering from a long-term injury and the way things happened in the last team was not ideal, due to which his attitude seems shaky at best. He needs to improve his body language so that he can promise confidence, desire, determination and have the fire to return to the court to play at all costs. Well, this is just an opinion, but a very popular one. He needs to give his all in order to make a long awaited comeback.
