Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Toronto Raptors in all important game 6 on Thursday. The Raptors looked done after going down 0-3 but they have managed to win 2 games in a row and have got the series to 6 games. And if they win this, this would set up a winner-take it game 7 and the Raptors will have all the momentum in the world. For the Sixers, this is a must-win game, as losing 3 games in a row would surely affect their confidence. But James Harden and Embiid made sure that nothing like that happened. Harden also earned praise from his former teammate.
The Sixers are advancing to the next round of the playoffs after they blew the Raptors out of the building. The Sixers won 132-97 and their stars Embiid and Harden stepped up in a huge way. Many had doubted the Sixer’s ability to close out the series and expected it to go to 7. But the Sixers ensured no such thing happened as they wrapped it up today itself. They will now face the Miami Heat for a chance to go to the Eastern Conference Finals.
