Despite arguably being two of the best players of their generation, LeBron James and Kevin Durant share a great bond off the court of basketball. They have had numerous memorable battles with each other over the years on the hardwood. Notably, they have even faced each other three times in the NBA Finals with Durant coming out on top twice with the Golden State Warriors. Although this rivalry has, in a way, defined their generation, they have always showcased respect for each other. Their friendship off the court even led the duo to try their hands at a different venture. NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal recently shared a clip of a rap KD and LeBron performed together a few years ago.
Shaq, who also goes by the name of DJ Diesel, has been into music ever since his rookie year in the league. Basketball players rapping is nothing new. Damian Lillard, Lonzo Ball, and others have released many songs over the years. However, two of the greatest of all time having a song together is bound to attract fans’ attention.

While Stephen Curry fans might dispute the fact that James and Durant ran the league for a long time, their history arguably backs that claim up. During James’ Miami Heat days, he faced off against a 21-year-old Durant and his Oklahoma City Thunder. The Heat came out on top as LeBron earned his first NBA championship.
After a few more years of memorable battles, they met each other on the grand stage yet again. However, the teams were completely different this time as James’ Cleveland Cavaliers faced KD’s Warriors two years in a row. KD and the Warriors overwhelmed the Cavs as they won both titles with an aggregate score of 8-1.
