For NBA fans to meet their favorite players is, hands down, a dream come true. As always, they would love memorabilia or a souvenir to mark the time and place for such an interaction. Usually, it would be selfies or autographs on shoes, signatures on books, and things like that. But recent evidence is proof that a fan wanted a souvenir of Kevin Durant closer to themselves.

One such fan was so excited to meet his hero that he asked KD to sign on his forehead. Kevin Durant fulfilled his request, and the fan closed his eyes as KD went on to sign, almost in a prayer-like state. He was so pumped up after Durant signed, that he couldn’t stop hi-fiving the NBA great. Safe to say, it truly made his day. He even showed off his signed head to the camera after.
The NBA world went into splits upon seeing this, and one user even commented that “KD fans are even weirder than he is”.
Here are some of the reactions from NBA Twitter:

Ben Rohrbach from Yahoo Sports?once confessed, “I’m so confused by Kevin Durant”. His unpredictability makes people second-guess his motives and decisions. He wrote, “Durant’s predecessors were certainly easier to figure out”.
This could be reflected in his fans as well, who like KD for the unique personality he has.

Last month, Kevin Durant was asked to sign an autograph on a piece of white cloth. But, the marker had lost its ink. Here too, fans couldn’t stop making fun of the situation.
The 12-time All-Star’s fandom remains large and instills an almost God-like presence. Way back in 2014, when Kevin Durant was part of the Oklahoma City Thunder, a fan was so enamored by the two-time NBA champion that, he got Kevin Durant’s face cut into his hair. Not only that, he had the team logo with the complete color on his head.
