Karl Anthony-Towns is arguably the face of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 2015 NBA Draft’s number one overall pick has been the consistent force for Minnesota in his time with the team. He is generally considered one of the best shooting big men of all time. The seven-foot center has a smooth shooting stroke which helps him play mind games with defenders. He can also easily go to the basket or use his shooting to sink a three-pointer.

Anthony-Towns led the Timberwolves to their first NBA playoffs berth since the 17-18 season. They lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in six games in the first round of the playoffs.
You may think that this may entail the league being friendly to him and taking care of one of its star players. But that actually isn’t always the case.
Karl Anthony-Towns is a super fan of the Netflix sci-fi show ‘Stranger Things’. Earlier, Karl Anthony-Towns once launched a sneaker with brandings of the show visible across the shoes. But the NBA banned it as it was directly promoting another brand, which goes against the league’s strict shoe policies. Other NBA stars that have received fines or seen their shoes banned by the NBA include Stephen Curry, Carmelo Anthony, and even Michael Jordan.
