Kanye West has been under fire from all directions. Taking an antisemitic route, the former billionaire lost it all. Notably, he claims to have lost over $2 billion in just a single day. However, in a recent interview, the Donda artist said no one can control him. And he even used Michael Jordan and his father to make a point.
His Airness reached his peak in 1993. The five-time MVP was chasing his first three-peat with the Chicago Bulls. However, the tide took a wrong turn. Shockingly, news broke about his father’s murder in July of that year. Despite the grave wound, Michael Jordan fought for his father. In 1996, Jordan gave his kate father a gift of a championship. and couldn’t stop crying when in the locker room. It was arguably his bravest performance which ironically came on fathers day.

For years, the story has inspired sports fans who know the true pain behind MJ’s journey. But Kanye West probably took it out of proportion with his recent take.
Kanye West drags Michael Jordan and his father into a control argument
Apart from standing up for himself, West also stood for Brooklyn Nets star, Kyrie Irving. The seven-time All-Star got into similar trouble after sharing a controversial movie on his Instagram. Likewise, stars such as Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and LeBron James all have held some criticism towards KAI. However, according to Kanye, people who have stood against him and Irving are controllable. The Donda artist had a questionable method of justifying his argument.
West said: “It’s only God. That’s the only person I serve. My momma ain’t here. My momma was sacrificed. Michael Jordan, what about him? His dad right? Bill Cosby, his son right. Dr. Dre, his son. Around Hollywood, a lot of people come up missing.”

Naming every superstar who lost a family member probably doesn’t make for a strong argument. But West held the guilt of his mom’s passing for several years. His mother, Donda passes away due to surgical complications in 2007. Naming his 10th album after her, Kanye West blames his moving to LA as the reason for the untimely passing of his mother. All the others mentioned lost their dear ones in an unfortunate manner.
