Justin Bieber told Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin, that his character on the show is ‘dorky’. The incident took place during the NBA celebrity All-Star game in which both participated.

Justin Bieber calls Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin a ‘dorky kid’

The 2018 NBA Celebrity All-Star game took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center during the All-star weekend. The game was played between Team Lakers and Team Clippers, representing the two Los Angeles teams, respectively.

While warming up in the locker room before the match, Justin Bieber started a conversation with teammate and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin.

“You look good. How long you’ve been ballin?”, asked the 28-year-old singer.

“Most my life,” replied McLaughlin.

After that, the conversation took a different turn, as Justin said, “I didn’t really recognize you because you play more of a dorky kid.”

The 20-year-old actor agreed that he looks way cooler than his character on the show. And they shook hands on that.

McLaughlin posted the entire interaction on his Instagram.

Team Clippers beat Team Lakers

Team Clippers got the better of Team Lakers in the game. The rapper Quavo took home the coveted MVP trophy.

Apart from Bieber and McLaughlin, the Lakers had stars like Nick Cannon, Sterling Brim, Michael B. Jordan, Terence Crawford, Candace Parker, Tracy McGrady, and others.

On the other hand, the Clippers had Jamie Foxx, Kevin Garnett, Offset, Andre De Grasse, and others.
