The Golden State Warriors were up by two points with a minute and 17 seconds to go against the Memphis Grizzlies. Stephen Curry was frustrated with Poole and rather uncharacteristically, threw his mouth guard into the front row. As per the rules, Curry was immediately ejected from the game. Moments later, with their leader in the locker room, Thompson and Poole took control of the game. First, Thompson shot from behind the arc and claimed the lead with 15 seconds to go. The Grizzlies responded by tying the game at 120-120. Here?s where Poole focused on closing out the game. With assistance from Donte DiVincenzo, the Warriors? star executed a layup to bag a much-needed win. Eventually, all was forgiven as Curry greeted Poole in the tunnel with a wholesome gesture.?

Poole instantly imitated Curry?s antics of throwing the mouthpiece, leaving the two-time MVP in a fit of laughter. The two then shared a big hug while Curry continued to smile.?
