NBA all-time great Michael Jordan is one of the best trash talkers ever. Multiple opponents and teammates have lauded his trash-talking in the past. His trash-talking works because he does not just talk, he backs it with his performances on the hardwood. This also helped him get under the skin of his opponents and throw them off their game. However, this isn’t limited to the basketball court. MJ is a very competitive person so his trash-talking follows him almost everywhere.

J. R. Smith has won 2 NBA titles in his career. Both with LeBron James. One with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the other with the Lakers, which was the most recent in 2020. He was part of the team that beat the regular season record setters, the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors looked comfortable as they took an early 3-1 lead. However, the Cavs did not give up and won their first-ever title.

Many fans were clearly unhappy about MJ’s comments and trolling him. However, the fans know it is just how he is. Even during the NBA 75 ceremony Jordan playfully trash-talked another all-time great Magic Johnson. And asked him to lace up for a one-on-one game then and there. And the Lakers legend laughed it out.
