NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is more than one of the greatest players ever. He never fails to touch upon issues that are concerning the world of basketball and beyond.

Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers legend went all out to bash Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan B Peterson. Peterson sent headlines across the world when he tweeted something crass against transgender actress Elliot Page.

Subsequently, Peterson’s Twitter account was suspended by the authorities for a week. After coming back, he seemed in no regret and also tweeted out his thoughts regarding the situation.

This wasn’t taken well by Kareem, as he gave his thoughts regarding the psychologist in a recent article. Kareem said, “Jordan B. Peterson is mad as hell and he’s not going to take it anymore. He has announced his bold decision to publicly martyr himself—like all good cult leaders—by choosing death over retracting a recent tweet that got him suspended by Twitter.”

Peterson publicly announced that he will not be apologizing for his earlier tweet, which prompted the 6 time NBA champion to give his thoughts.

This is not the first time Kareem has talked about something pertaining to the broader society. He regularly gives his two cents on issues all around the world.
