Jokic is one of the most consistent players in the league. Remarkably, using his physicality to his advantage, he comes second in the rebound leaders behind Rudy Gobert. The Serbian averages 26.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 7.9 assists this season.
Furthermore, the Nuggets are 6th in their conference and are looking comfortable for a playoff spot. This increases the chances of him winning the MVP award considerably.
