NBA world asks officials to eject Joel Embiid
The Philadelphia 76ers played the game without?James Harden and Tyrese Maxey. Earlier, it was reported that Harden would be out of the team roster for about a month due to an injury. On the other hand, Maxey was sidelined after sustaining a foot injury during the first half of the game. Despite that, the 76ers managed to beat Giannis Antetokounmpo?and the Milwaukee Bucks. Embiid gave a good performance on the court as he matched up to Antetokounmpo with ease. During the first half, the five-time NBA All-Star successfully blocked the ‘Greek Freak’ from making a dunk shot.
While the NBA officials termed it as a flagrant 1 foul, many expressed their disagreements, including ESPN commentator Doris Burke. Similarly, Twitterati opposed the decision and stated that Embiid should have been ejected from the court immediately.
