ESPN Insider Adrian Wojnarowski recently shared the news on Twitter that the Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey is likely to be sidelined for the next 3-4 weeks with a left foot injury. The 76ers guard got injured in the second quarter during the team’s victory against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Maxey’s injury puts pressure on Joel Embiid
Maxey stepped on the foot of Bucks guard Jevon Carter and reportedly broke his foot. Maxey scored 24 points, five assists, and four rebounds before getting injured moments before halftime. He was spotted leaving the building in a walking boot. Thus, Joel Embiid is likely to face the pressure of added scoring responsibilities after Maxey’s absence for the next 3-4 weeks.
