The UEFA Champions League Final 2022 was played a day before, and it was Real Madrid who clinched the title. Madrid scored one goal in the 59th minute to beat LeBron James’ Liverpool, and multiple NBA players reacted to this match.

Real Madrid won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Vinicius Jr. near the hour mark. Carlo Ancelotti’s side then held on, owing in large part to Thibaut Courtois’ excellent effort.
