The Phoenix Suns have leveled the series against the Denver Nuggets after winning their latest game. Devin Booker has been in rare form this postseason. He added 36 points to the Suns’ tally in game 4. He’ll be important in Phoenix’s bid to win the title this season. Booker’s scintillating form has made a former NBA star heap massive praise on him, which, however, didn’t sit well with many NBA fans for obvious reasons.
Devin Booker just cannot stop scoring in the NBA playoffs. He’s been dropping over 30 points every other game. Denver will have to come up with some plan if they are to stop Booker from causing havoc.

Former NBA star Kendrick Perkins is impressed by Devin Booker’s string of exceptional performances. Perkins, who frequently features on the ESPN show First Take, had this to say about Booker, “He’s a younger version of Kobe. And if anybody disagrees with that, they’re out of their damn mind and they haven’t been watching basketball.”?
Kendrick Perkins certainly believes that Booker’s game is similar to that of the late great Kobe Bryant‘s game. He even claimed that Devin Booker is by far the best player in the league in the postseason. Booker is leading the league in transition points, points on mid-range, and isolation points. He has certainly proved that he can be relied on in the big moments of the game. The Suns star is destroying Denver’s defense play-by-play. Some of the supporters certainly don’t share Kendrick Perkins’ sentiment. Many think Nikola Jokic and Jimmy Butler have been better than Devin Booker. Jokic scored a massive 53 points in the game recently and Butler knocked out the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

Some fans certainly agreed with Perkins about Booker being the postseason MVP, while some didn’t like the comparisons between him and the late great Kobe Bryant. Kendrick Perkins’ words caused a major divide among the basketball fans. As good and lethal as Devin Booker is turning out to be, many certainly believe that its too early to compare him to Kobe. It remains to be seen how Devin Booker fares for the rest of the season.
