Like her mother, the Curry sister applied her talents to volleyball. However, after several conclusions, she had to abandon her athletic dream. Looking for a new purpose, Sydel started her own podcast.

Covering mental health, she spoke about growing up with Stephen Curry and their family. And the 27-year-old revealed how mental health was never part of the conversation in her house.
Stephen Curry grew up in a religious family
Having faith in God, Sydel practically lived in the church. The Curry household took religion very seriously. The answer to any discomfort was often prayer. Likewise, she has used her beliefs to stay in the right lane. However, it isn’t the same for everyone according to the sister of Stephen Curry. She said the man above put everyone on Earth for a reason. And therapists can be reliable allies to face mental health battles.

She said: “A big part of me getting through my day and me being able to do what I do is because I do rely so heavily on my faith. But I also say, ‘Jesus made therapists’. God gave people purpose to be a therapist and to be in the mental health profession to help other people. A lot of people are put on this Earth to help us in ways that we can’t help ourselves.”?
Much like his sister, Stephen Curry also holds his faith to a high degree. During his documentary, an episode titled ‘Faith‘ was dedicated to his religious side. The former unanimous MVP believes all his powers and talent come from God. Curry is a believer first before anything else.
Trusting that God has put him on this Earth for a purpose, Stephen Curry faces every challenge with faith. The four-time NBA champion has achieved greatness and credits it all to God. He has made it a tradition to look up to the sky almost after almost every point he scores.
