The Los Angeles Lakers’ season is slowly turning into a disaster. They have gone on 2 five-game losing streaks. And currently they have the worst record in the NBA, along with the Houston Rockets. The Lakers came into the game on the back of a four-game losing streak. LeBron James sat out after he suffered an injury in the game against the Clippers. Despite that, the Lakers had enough talent to get back to winning ways. And they were looking like they would end their losing streak. But then it all collapsed.
The Lakers failed to hold on to a double-digit lead in the second quarter and allowed the Kings to crawl back in. They made several careless mistakes and allowed the Kings to go on a run. Later on, Lakers star Anthony Davis addressed the issue in the post-game press conference.
Anthony Davis on the Lakers' overall level of personal accountability: "The thing is, there’s a lot of, like, ‘My bads.’ Which is good. But we can’t have a lot of, ‘My bads.’ … A couple ‘My bads’ down at the end of the first half and they go on a 14-5 run."

Last year, we had 7 wins out of 13 games through November 12th. I thought that was bad. This year, we are 2 out of 12 games. Last year, the slow start was due to vets, injuries and Vogel. This year, what is the excuse? There is no cohesiveness, too many guards, no wings, miss Kuz

NBA Twitter should stop blaming individuals . Yes, ALL of them are inconsistent. It's actually the front office's fault they created this badly constructed mess of a team. Also, I want to say this as a Russ fan: trade Russ so we can all move on.

Time to rebuild – trade AD for multiple picks, cut Westbrook loose already (was a horrible trade to bring him in the 1st place) this team is a MESS! SMH

In the second half, it was a very close game, as both teams exchanged the lead multiple times. But once the fourth quarter started, De’Aaron Fox took over. He hit one shot after another and created wide-open looks for his teammates. The Lakers kept battling, but they stumbled at the end of the game. The Kings held on to win their second game in a row while the Lakers fell to their 10th defeat of the season.
