It’s safe to say that the Los Angeles Lakers were the biggest disappointment in the NBA this season. They did not even make the playoffs despite having LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook. On top of that, they had one of the highest luxury tax bills in the league. And their owner, Jeanie Buss, is not happy with how the season has turned out this season.

The Lakers had issues from the start, but everyone thought they would comfortably make the playoffs. After the injury to Anthony Davis, those expectations were somewhat reduced, but they were the favorites to make the play-in tournament. But after the all-star break, their season unraveled, and they lost game and game. They were in the 7th spot and they kept falling down until they were eliminated from the play-in. Even with LeBron James playing like an MVP, the Lakers just couldn’t get over the hump.

We don’t like to be missing the playoffs, I understand the fans anger and frustration,” she said. “I’ve got to make it better.” Even the Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal seemed to agree with her. He posted Buss’s comments on his Instagram story.
