NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is one of the richest basketball players ever. He made millions of dollars while playing and he continues to make through his endorsements and his business. As accordingly, he has one of the biggest houses ever. But that wasn’t enough, as he added another 45,000 sq. ft just because he was jealous of a Chicago Millionaire.

Shaq had one of the largest houses in Florida before he sold it a few years ago. It was 12 bedroom masterpiece that was situated on a three-acre gated golf community next to the lake. It had every feature that you could possibly imagine. It also had a massive garage for Shaq’s long list of cars.

In his new house, he expanded it to nearly twice its original size after getting jealous.

Shaq recently went overseas to Australia, so he missed a week on his podcast. So when his co-host asked him why he was acting so different, Shaq proudly revealed the reason. He said, “When you’re house is 69,000 sq.ft, cause my new addition has just been created. It was 25, I just added 45,000 sq.ft”

His co-host asked what is gonna be there in the new addition. Shaq said, “Hookah bar, theatre, safe room, triple storey closet,” and he told why he did all these additions. He revealed, “There’s this guy in Chicago he was showing off his house, I got super jealous… Let me go out and do that” 

The Lakers legend had one of the biggest houses ever. And when he saw a guy showing off his massive house, he wanted to show off his as well. He wanted to get some new additions to his house. So he went out and increased his size by nearly double and it surely will cost Shaq millions.

But that may be nothing for a man like Shaq. He has earned millions over the years and he still continues to do so. So if you try and show off your house and Shaq gets jealous, you better watch out as Shaq will try to outdo you in any way possible.
