Their hard work, sacrifices, and deeds call for a celebration. The entire globe might have planned some surprises for their moms or even had celebrations. The NBA was no different. Despite the postseason grabbing all the headlines, they found the time to celebrate the important women in their life. Starting with the more traditional toasts, Stephen Curry’s wife and entrepreneur Ayesha Curry devoted an Instagram story to her mother, Carol Alexander. “Happy Mother’s Day Mama,” she wrote.
Magic Johnson sent out his wishes to all the ‘incredible’ mothers of the world while specially mentioning his “beautiful wife and the most amazing mother to our children”, Cookie Johnson, and his mother, Christine Johnson. The Hall of Famer offered his gratitude and ended his message with “I love you” for both the precious women in his life.

New York Knicks guard Josh Hart was only days into being a first-time father. Still soaking it all in, he wished his wife, Shannon Phillips, in a romantic yet comedic way. “Happy first Mother’s Day! Thank you for bringing these two miracles into our lives. Here’s to changing nasty diapers, the crying and no more sleep,” he wrote on his Instagram.

Larsa Pippen, the mother of four, got a pleasant surprise from her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan. He set up two massive flower bouquets to celebrate her day. She shared a snippet of the moment on her Instagram story.

The Boston Celtics had the most electrifying and dreamy Mother’s Day of all. Jayson Tatum, with his mom, Brandy Cole watching on dropped a historic 51 points to win his side an emphatic Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers. After the game, he shared a moment with his mother, a perfect gift for the auspicious day.
Missing his mother, Marcus Smart also pinned down a message to celebrate the day.

Some sadly couldn’t spend the day with their mothers. Tristan Thompson lost his mom, Andrea, in January. It was an extremely painful time for the NBA star. Thompson plans to celebrate her incredible life with his children, releasing doves in the sky.
