The Eastern Conference Finals have finally come to an end. After seven tough games, the Boston Celtics managed to edge out 100-96 against the Miami Heat in Game 7. Jayson Tatum and Jimmy Butler put up a show in the East Finals. This was a rematch of the 2020 East Finals when the Heat won against the Celtics in six games.
This time it was Boston’s turn to show. The Heat played their best, despite not having Tyler Herro for a few games, they put up a tough fight. This year, the achievement awards have got a new name and a few more awards have been introduced. These include the Conference Finals MVP.

Jayson Tatum will face the Golden State Warriors next
In Game 7, Tatum registered 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. He finally redeemed the Conference after playing in the East Finals for the third time in four years. After winning the East, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics will face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. This was also the second time Tatum has played a Game 7 in the Conference Finals.

Tatum has been all over the place this postseason. Leading his team against tough matchups and even the reigning champs Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics have won two Game 7s this postseason. It is not easy to give a tough fight in the Conference Finals, right after a 7-game second round.
The Warriors will be playing their sixth Finals in the last 8 seasons. Whereas the Celtics have made it to the Finals after 12 years. The Celtics are also tied with the Lakers for the most titles won in NBA history. What’s interesting is that none of the players in Boston has ever played in the NBA Finals.

Can Jayson Tatum lead Boston over Stephen Curry and the Warriors?
The Warriors are coming into the Finals strong with a playoff record of 12-4. While the Celtics have played two Game 7s. It is going to be an interesting matchup between these two teams. All the players are healthy and the ones injured earlier are looking to make a return.
