Making his way to the list, the young and rising star of the Celtics, Jayson Tatum, has become the face of the franchise in recent times. Tatum’s performance last night set a new record in Celtics history.

The Boston Celtics played the Chicago Bulls last night. In a game that went down to the wire, the Celtics came on top with the win. Tatum, like his usual self, had an exceptional performance. However, in last night’s game, Tatum broke a long-standing record of the Celtics legend Larry Bird.

The Boston Celtics, led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, faced off against DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls (5-5) last night at home. The game went back and forth throughout and was a nail bitter to the very end. The Boston Celtics, in the final minutes, managed to win the game with a score of 123 – 119 at the end of regulation.

In the win, Jason Tatum, who scored 36 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists, broke a long-standing record of the Celtics legend Larry Bird. Tatum passed Bird for the most points in the first eight games of a Celtics season.
The Boston Celtics, who made it out of the East and to the NBA finals last season, have come back in form this season. They are playing at an extremely high level. With an impressive 5-3 record, they are firmly placed among the top teams in the Eastern Conference as the 3rd seed. One of the biggest reasons for their team’s success this season has been the MVP-level performance of All-star forward Jason Tatum. The young forward has climbed the ranks to the top of the MVP race this season and stands with the league’s best players on equal footing.
