Jasmine Jordan Once Admitted How “Frustrating” Being Michael Jordan’s Daughter Was in High School and College

Michael Jordan has undoubtedly been an inspiration for many players, but his journey to becoming one of the greatest ever in NBA history wasn’t easy. Nevertheless, he managed to cover everything and succeed at the level he desired. 

He may have enjoyed an easy life after all the fame and money, but his children had a difficult path to travel sometimes. In addition to the many benefits, opportunities, and responsibilities that come along with being the child of one of the greatest players in basketball, there are also many expectations.

It was Michael Jordan‘s policy to keep them down to earth so that their children would not take advantage of this fame. During an interview with InStyle, Jasmine Jordan shared a number of stories and answered many questions about her father and family. 

In addition, she talked about how it was “frustrating“ to be Jordan’s daughter during her high school and college years. She shared how her life changed and how she realized how different other people are.

Furthermore, she shared how, as a child, she had to suffer many difficulties in her life because many people were wanting to know more about her. Jordan has five children, of which Yvette Prieto is the mother of his twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel.

He had Jasmine, Jeffrey, and Marcus Jordan with his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. Jordan has always kept his family’s business very private. Throughout his career, he has managed to keep his private and professional lives separate. Fans can see that in his children as well. Despite the fact that they are blessed with what they have, they value every single piece of it.

In the interview, Jasmine explained that she always runs into people who discover she is Jordan’s child everywhere she goes. Back in the days before college, she experienced a lot of difficulties for simply tweeting a college-related message. 

According to her, a media site featured it as if it were an interview. “Initially, it was a little tough, because there was no hiding that I was Michael Jordan’s daughter. Everyone just stared, whispered, and had side conversations about me.”

In addition, she explained that she faced this in college as well and how it affected her. “It was frustrating because once I arrived on campus I had to deal with stares from everyone. I was being judged and talked about before I even had a chance to ask a question in class.”

She handled everything thrown at her and is proud to be the daughter of one of the greatest players in the NBA. It is her uniqueness in the world that makes her stand out. Jordan’s children are doing well today and have achieved great things in their respective fields.
