Now, one may not expect a high school game to trigger so many emotions. However, when the teams include the sons of two NBA All-Stars who played against each other in high school, then it becomes a big deal. The two superstars were LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony and their sons were playing against each other. This whole event soon became a historic moment while many other celebrities sat on the sidelines to witness a reunion and the game.

LeBron James‘ sons Bryce and Bronny James flaunted the Sierra Canyon jersey while Carmelo Anthony‘s son Kiyan barred the Kings jersey. This game turned into a family affair as it marked a momentous occasion. James’ son vs Anthony’s son meant history was repeating itself as both the All-Stars faced each other in High School around 20 years ago. This reunion was trending online while celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Bryant, and Jamie Foxx expressed their excitement online.

Carmelo Anthony’s wife, popular actress La La Anthony posted a heartfelt message on Instagram while talking about the game. In the caption of the post, La La spoke about how exciting and beautiful it was to watch the James siblings and her son play against each other. She also mentioned that having their family and friends around made it more special. The popular TV personality wrote, “I couldn’t have been more proud. 21 years later. History repeated itself.”

This caption was paired with a photo dump that showcased pictures of her friends and family who turned up to witness this thriller. Kim Kardashian and her daughter North were part of Kiyan Anthony’s support squad. They held posters that said, “Go Kiyan!” Kim also took to her Instagram to share La La’s post and pictures from the game.

Late NBA Legend Kobe Bryant‘s daughter Natalia Bryant was also seen on the sidelines. The Bryants and the Anthonys are very close family friends. So it was no surprise to fans when they saw Natalia cheering for Kiyan. Vanessa Bryant also shared La La’s post on her story and captioned it, “aww” and “we are family.”

Actor Jamie Foxx also reacted to La La Anthony’s post. He commented and said, “Beautiful just beautiful.”
