While Harden and Khloe’s romance ended after eight months, Harden has been very vocal about the break-up and has stated why it was the worst year of his life. Furthermore, he also mentioned the amount of attention and publicity that was taking place, which was the primary cause of the relationship ending.
“I don’t need pictures of myself when I’m driving my car. Who cares? What shoes am I wearing? Who cares? Where am I eating? Who cares? It was unnecessary stuff that I think trickled down to my teammates. I had to eliminate that”
Khloe Kardashian also expressed regret about their relationship, as she commented about the statement from her perspective.
“It’s almost like you have to go through it twice: privately and publicly. I’ve been there, for sure, and it’s hard,” she said. “It’s humiliating … It’s like pouring salt into an open wound. It definitely makes it hard to close that chapter of your life.”

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Harden talked about the challenges he faced while dating a reality star without taking any any specific names.
While he was going through this phase, he mentioned that he wasn’t fond of the attention he was getting and that it was unnecessary to tell the world everything about him. It wasn’t who he was.
