Jada Smith recently had the ladies of the Curry family on her show, Red Table Talk. It included the wife of Stephen Curry, Ayesha, and his mom, Sonya. It also included his sister, Sydel Curry-Lee. And one admission about mental health by Sydel sent Jada and her daughter Willow into shock.

Jada had the ladies of the Curry family talk about what they have been able to do with their lives. This includes how they deal with the spotlight, how is it like to be married to NBA players, and their mental health issues. They also talked about how they have been able to find themselves through all this.

The sister of Stephen Curry made an honest admission and this left Jada and Willow speechless

The Curry family was asked some pretty serious questions, and they answered them as honestly as possible. They also revealed the difficulties they have had to face over the years. One of the questions was how they decided not to travel with their husbands.

Sydel Curry, who is married to Damion Lee, said, “I have the ability with my career to be able to travel with him and see him here and there. But I feel like if I get used to that, I’m not gonna be present with any other aspect of my life.”

“With my anxiety, it’s really hard for me to meet people. I’ve just developed it within the past three years. I’ve had five concussions and that kind of resulted into.”

Jada and Willow were shocked to learn that Sydel had five concussions and both of them said, “Oh My Goodness” at the same time. Sydel suffered these injuries playing volleyball. She was hit in the head a few times and she also hit her head on the floor. And she thinks that this all leads to her developing anxiety.

Even her mom, Sonya, stated that her behavior changed over those 3 to 4 years and Ayesha seemed to agree. Steph’s sister also said that going to therapy has helped her a lot. But she said she hasn’t blacked out in the past few years, but she used to when there were a lot of people around.
