Ja Morant has taken the league by storm. He has elevated his level of play this season, and he is one of the front runners for MVP. Ja has led the Grizzlies to the second seed in the west and has received high praises from the players and legends of this game. One of them is Brooklyn Nets super star Kevin Durant, who has compared him to Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson.

Durant has called Ja, a future Hall of Famer and said he is a combination of players. He said, “He’s a combination of players, I feel. I think the greatest players in our game can transform into anybody at any point. And I think Ja’s on the way to that. When he’s playing, I see like two or three, four different Hall of Famers in his game. From Iverson to he might make a Jordan-like layup, or he might run down the court like a Westbrook or a Rose.”

It is really rare to see a young player get such high praise from a legend of the game, but Ja is every bit worthy of that praise. He has been absolutely sensational this year. Unsurprisingly, he has been averaging 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists while shooting nearly 50% from the field. Ja has also improved his three-point shooting, and you cannot leave him alone anymore.
