Ja Morant is having a hell of a season. He has developed from a promising player to one of the best in the league, and he is one of the front runners for the MVP award. He has led the Grizzlies to the second-best record in the NBA and they are one of the most dangerous teams in the league. But seems to have lost his cool at a fan who called him out on Twitter.

Morant had recently come to Devin Booker’s case for the league MVP. There was a power ranking post for the MVP and Ja had retweeted with a caption saying, “still no dbook?” questioning why Booker was not included in the MVP conversation. Booker has been brilliant this season and his team is the best team in basketball. But during the MVP conversation, his name is nowhere to be found. And then a fan called out Morant for showing love to Booker and nothing for Nikola Jokic.

Ja Morant responds to fan who called him Anti-Jokic

The fan did not like Morant coming to Booker’s support and he sent out a tweet saying, “Ja Morant exposing himself with the anti-Jokic energy was WEIRD/casual energy man. For real. TO PUSH DEVIN BOOKER!”

Morant didn’t seem to like this one bit, and he came right back at the fan. He said, stop it. im probably more of a jokic fan than you ????very special talent .. but let’s not act like dbook haven’t been killing & has the best record in the league.”

Morant gave Jokic his respect and told that he loves seeing Jokic. He even mocked the fan saying he may be even bigger fan of him than the fan. But stood by what he said and called out the media for not having Booker in the conversation. With all the Success of the Suns, it seems highly unfair that Booker is not even in the conversation. And it’s not just Morant, other players in the league have felt the same way.
