The Memphis Grizzlies are flying high in the Western Conference. Ja Morant has taken flight and has taken Grizzlies to the 9th cloud. The 22-year-old Grizzlies? point guard is roaring loud. His agility dribbling and getting away from the opposing defenders to score points has been the most impressive feature of his game. Ja hit the ground running since he arrived in the league. Moreover, he has been absolutely sensational this season.

Ja Morant has started every game he has played for Memphis since he joined them as a 20-year-old in 2019. The Grizzlies drafted him as their 2nd overall pick and he has lived up to the trust put in him.

Other than being an immensely talented individual, Ja is also a great teammate. It is always quite evident from his presence on the court and his relationship with the team off the court. Most recently, he backed his fellow 22-year-old teammate, Jaren Jackson Jr.

Other than Ja, the whole team has turned up this season. Jaren Jackson Jr has also been the force behind the Grizzlies? success this season. The two young ballers are having a season to remember. So Ja Morant?s reaction was a fair one when he saw the Defensive Player of the Year rankings and did not see Jaren.

The rankings till now include Giannis Antetekounmpo, Rudy Gobert, and Mikal Bridges as the top three. Ja completely disagreed with the ranking as evident in his tweet and felt Jaren Jackson Jr should have been right up there.

Ja Morant?s numbers have skyrocketed this season as compared to his previous two. He averages 27.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game. On the other hand, Jaren Jackson Jr has been a force defensively combined with his offensive awareness. Memphis looks like a proper team and the duo of Ja and Jaren has taken the league by storm so far.

The Grizzlies are currently 2nd in the Western Conference. They look forward to a playoff qualification after terrific performances in the regular season so far. The Grizzlies are 48-22 and looking over their shoulders as the Warriors chase the 2nd spot with 47-22 right behind them.
Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr, along with the rest of the Grizzlies squad, need to continue their brilliant season and display their best basketball for the rest of the season.
