The release of The Last Dance brought with it a lot of controversies. The announcement about the 10-part docuseries had fans waiting with several expectations. However, what they hadn’t expected was severed ties and the reignition of decades-old feuds. Among them was the infamous rivalry between Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas. It has been three years and the Detroit Pistons legend is still furious about Jordan’s “a**hole” claim in the docuseries. While MJ is yet to respond, NBA fans didn’t wait long to fire back at Thomas.
The rivalry between Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas was well-publicized in the late 80s and early 90s when the Chicago Bulls were gradually rising to become one of the top teams in the league. While the duo never managed to become friends, their bitter relationship eventually took a back seat when both retired from the league.

When Isiah Thomas sat to watch The Last Dance, he probably didn’t expect his rival to express his hatred for him by publicly calling him an “a****le” but Michael Jordan did exactly that. This left Thomas baffled and enraged.
In a recent interview on All The Smoke podcast, Thomas once again talked about his beef with Jordan after co-host Matt Barnes enquired about it. The former Pistons superstar shared what he expected of Jordan after expressing his willingness to move past the feud.
He said, “You got on national television and you called me an a**hole, and then you said you hated me. You said that on national television. Now, if you didn’t mean it, get on national television and apologize for it. Now if you meant it, let it ride as it is.”
Furthermore, he added, “If you lie and throwing stones from behind the scenes, okay that’s you. But if you’re honest and you upright on your square, I’m willing to deal with you.”
Michael Jordan fans slam Thomas for his comments
Isiah Thomas’ remarks about Michael Jordan didn’t sit too well with the fans. They were quick to call out the former Pistons guard for holding on to the matter. One fan got annoyed with Thomas for dragging the issue and wrote, “It?s over. Let it GO!!!” Whereas, another user bluntly sent a message to Thomas that read, “That?s not gone happen.” Take a look at a few more of the comments.

He been talking about this a whole lot. Why would mj apologize if they ve never been cool with each other tho I don't get it, unless mj is trying to apologize behind the scenes, which I doubt

Half the Twitterati also felt it necessary to remind Thomas of ‘The Jordan Rules’, a set of rules with a ‘brutal’ approach they took to defeat MJ in the games.
MJ got manhandle, bodyslamed and throw down etc. when facing the pistons in the late 80 and early 90's they literally had a specific way to defend MJ and when they lost didn't even gave a handshake

Lol, Jordan is 60. Been retired for 20 years. Getting talked about by young and old. Current players, retired players, media and fans. That man just stays out the way, while others be bothered and upset. I respect it.
