Stephen Curry, one of the greatest players in the NBA, is known for his glorious career and three-point shooting ability. Off the court as well, many might see him as one of the greatest basketball players.

Steph?s wife, Ayesha Curry, too is a well-known TV personality, cookbook author, actress, and influencer. However, instead of boasting about their achievements and wealth, the two spend their spare time helping those in need. Their desire to give back to the community has led the couple to begin a beautiful foundation.

Former US Secretary of Education, who worked with Barack Obama, appreciates Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s efforts

The 4x NBA Championship winner and his multi-talented wife have started a foundation. Going against their business managers, the two have named their foundation- Eat. Learn. Play. The couple wanted to do something for their community and hence decided to lay the roots of their foundation in Oakland, California, their hometown of 13 years.

To reach out to the community, Steph and Ayesha reached out to, Arne Duncan, a member of Obama?s cabinet. The former secretary of education was indeed happy to learn about the couple?s goal and was on board.

In an interview with Town&Country, Duncan said, “They could have done something nationally to start. They could have done something internationally, but they started locally.? He further added, ?It?s really about the work. It?s not the Steph and Ayesha show.?

What is Eat. Work. Play. Foundation?

Steph has always been a promoter of education and being active, while Ayesha was more for food and childhood hunger. Together, the Currys put their love for the community to work and create the Eat. Work. Play foundation.

The foundation?s main aim is to end childhood hunger and ensure that every child has access to quality education. At the same time, the foundation also helps children remain active via different games, hence bringing Steph?s advocacy to life.
