Jasmine Jordan shows support for Brittney Griner

Jasmine Jordan recently spoke about Brittney Griner during an award ceremony in New York. She stated that many are “dismissive and disrespectful” about Griner’s situation on social media.

“It?s not about the charges. It?s a bigger picture taking place,” Jasmine said. “A lot of people are ignoring that and they?re focusing on these micro details, the charges, but it?s a political play. Sorry, not sorry. She is wrongfully being used as a pawn in a bigger scheme that?s being played, and it?s unfortunate to see.”

However, Jasmine is not the only one to suggest Griner is being used as a pawn. Earlier, when she was detained, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal mulled over the notion with his co-hosts Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams in his podcast. Another NBA legend Charles Barkley had the same view. Many U.S. diplomats feel the same way about the situation.
