Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal made fans curious about his whereabouts after he could not be found on the sets of Inside the NBA for a while. A few days ago, Shaq finally answered the long-awaited question of NBA fans by posting a picture of him lying in a hospital bed. This made fans very concerned for the four-time champion’s well-being. However, the 7ft 1 NBA legend laughed off his predicament that had him lying in a hospital bed and made it look like nothing happened to him.

The Lakers legend might have posted a photo from a hospital bed but he didn’t clarify the reasons behind it. On the contrary, he joked that he was in the hospital for a BBL. The joke somewhat alleviated the concern of his fans, but there were still some worries.

Fans could not see Shaq for the past few days, but the 3x Finals MVP recently made a guest appearance on the Pat McAfee Show and talked about a plethora of things. During the talk show, McAfee expressed how the passing away of Kobe Bryant was terrible for the sports world and subsequently proceeded to ask the Big Diesel a question related to the Black Mamba. However, the former NFL player suddenly diverted to another topic in the midst of asking the question.

The now 35-year-old wanted to get confirmation whether or not the four-time champion was currently recovering from a hip replacement. According to reports, the Big Diesel underwent hip replacement surgery last weekend and is now in a rehabilitation period. Responding to McAfee’s question, Shaq had the most Shaq answer ever.

The Lakers legend said, “Yes. It’s killing me right now and you asking all these dumba** questions.” This made everyone burst out laughing including Shaq himself. Following this, McAfee went on to ask his original question about Bryant after apologizing to Shaq for wasting his rehab time.

Shaq might have stated he was in pain, but his demeanor made it look like he was not at all concerned about the surgery he underwent.

Shaq thanked one of the regular attendees of the Pat McAfee show

During the show, Shaq wanted to say thanks to one of the regular attendees of the show, Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones. The former NFL veteran received kind words from the Big Diesel as he once whopped a man’s a*s in Atlanta Airport for disrespecting the Lakers legend. The 15x All-Star said about Jones, “Pac I really wanna say thank you for always being my bodyguard…I appreciate you very much.”
