LeBron James has been a part of the GOAT debate ever since he entered the NBA for a reason. A legend in high school turned NBA legend has had a prolific professional career so far and has accomplished some of the most impossible. And one big example of this is a game that LeBron helped the Cavaliers win against the New York Knicks back in 2017. He pulled off an upset that nobody could have predicted. And now, an old video of his dominance in the fourth quarter has been going viral now.

LeBron James: ‘King’ James for a reason

When an NBA player is able to help his teammates get clear shots and attract more defenders towards himself, that’s the art of floor spacing. And this is something LeBron James has clearly mastered in. We have seen over the years that Bron’s dominance forces players to double or triple-team him, leaving his teammates open. And he uses this to his advantage to turn the tables around.

While playing the New York Knicks in 2017, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were down by 15 points when entering the fourth quarter. At the time, Kyrie Irving had said his goodbyes to the Cavs, leaving them without a point guard. This landed LeBron with the role of being the floor general. So, while playing the Knicks at MSG, LeBron destroyed their defense in every possession that entire quarter.

He became the leader of their great comeback and hadn’t scored a single point until a step-back three that eventually gave them a much-needed lead. Against all odds, the Cavs ended up winning that game 104-100, and LeBron had a whopping 23 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds.
