LeBron James led the way ahead of James Harden, Ja Morant, Trae Young, and other NBA superstars in paying tribute to tennis legend Serena Williams. The NBA world did not forget to show its respect for one of the best ever to do it. Over the course of her career, Williams has been an inspiration to a lot of people around the world, especially women. Coming from very humble beginnings, Serena Williams conquered the world of tennis, winning 23 Grand Slam titles along the way before retiring after losing in the third round of the US Open.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James left a heartfelt message to the outgoing Williams. He said, “It’s been an honor to watch your journey. To watch you conquer all the goals that you ever set out, to see you break records, to see you just being amazing and transcended not only on the tennis court but also off.”

LeBron James added that he could continue talking about all her achievements but did not want to talk about stuff that is already well known.

He continued, “So I just wanna say thank you for just being this inspiration for so many. And never putting yourself out there when you didn’t feel like you were the greatest. And showing the world that every time you was out there, you were the greatest!”

The four-time NBA champion said that people always knew she was the greatest. He congratulated her and wished her a great journey ahead. James added that he salutes the tennis legend for her contributions to the sporting world. He then also took to Twitter to show his respect for Serena Williams.
