Lately, Fournier shared a clip on his Twitter where 3rd Graders could be seen showboating and recreating celebration styles of notable basketball players, during a game in the T3TV Snowball Classic Tournament. However, the Frenchman was seemingly disappointed with the way the kids celebrated during the game. As a result, he shared the aforementioned clip with the caption, “Smh. We need to set a better exemple for this new generation man”
Surprisingly, Curry’s teammate Andre Iguodala and ex-NBA veteran Rex Chapman also joined in and commented on the issue. However, both of them made fun of the showboating kids. The 38-year-old? forward commented, “Beat they a**” while the 55-year-old veteran commented, “It’s a little out of hand.”

Notably, two third graders, who played for the team ‘Charging’, recreated iconic NBA celebration styles after draining some 3-pointers into the basket in the tournament. Some of their celebrations included flexing the muscles to the signature ‘too-small’ motion. In other words, the kids were having fun on the hardwood by celebrating after putting on a show.
NBA fans reflected on the kids’ celebrations
The post became instantly popular in the hoops world shortly after it was shared by the Frenchman. Not only athletes reacted to the affair but even the fans reflected on it and shared their opinions. They mostly gave mixed reactions. Some of them suggested that the kids should have fun in their own way while others suggested that they didn’t like the taunting on the court.
Here are some of the reactions of the fans:
They’re 8… let ‘em have fun dam.. I get the “sportsmanship” comments but if you’ve played sports emotions run high and you bring that energy.. end of the game you shake hands
