Former Lakers star bashes Irving’s detractors
Ever since his controversial tweet a few days ago, Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has been at the center of all the attention. The Nets owner officially released a statement against Irving prior to suspending him. Moreover, the NBA also released statements demanding an apology.
The media hasn’t been kind to Irving as well. Recently, former NFL star Cole Beasly came out in support of Irving. Eminent media personality Shannon Sharpe brutally roasted him live on air for that, which wasn’t taken well by Kwame Brown.
Brown said, “Shannon Sharpe is going to call anyone an idiot, stupid, or whatever else that does not agree with his opinion. Cole Beasly, you are brave brother but, I don’t think you said anything wrong.“
Talking about Irving, Brown said, “Somehow, an opinion needs to be explained, apologized, rethought, relearned. Like, I never thought an opinion held any weight. Its a f***ing opinion.” Interestingly enough, he asserted that he feels Irving did nothing wrong and that people are just ‘too sensitive’.
