Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry hosted the 2022 ESPY Awards. And in his opening monologue, he took shots at Tom Brady, LeBron James, and the Boston Celtics. But a seven-time NBA champion was not impressed with Curry taking shots at the Lakers and LeBron, and has called him out.

Curry first talked about how he was the second NBA player to host the ESPY Awards after LeBron James. James was coming off his first Finals trip but the San Antonio Spurs swept him and his Celeveland Caveliers. Meanwhile, Curry won his fourth title against the Boston Celtics last season. And he joked about how this was a happy occasion compared to LeBron James.

Then he talked about Von Miller and his one-year tenure with the Los Angeles Rams. Miller was traded from the Broncos for draft picks and he was on the final year of his contract. But this move turned out to be a brilliant one for the Rams, as they won the Super Bowl with him.

Then Curry talked about how signing old superstars on a one-year deal worked out for a team in Los Angeles. And then ask Dikembe Moutumbo to speak with Los Angeles Lakers president Rob Pelinka about a 10-day contract.

Horry doesn’t like Stephen Curry dissing LeBron James

Robert Horry spoke about Stephen Curry and his recent monologue at the ESPY Awards. His other hosts were talking about how despite Curry trashing LA and Boston, you cannot hate the man. But Horry didn’t like the joke. He said, “It was not funny to me… It sounded funny when you wrote that s**t down… But you need to have better delivery.”

His co-hosts talked about how the joke fell flat with the audience of LA. Curry was trying to take shots at the superstar and that seemingly did not go down well. But his other delivery of the monologue with Tom Brady and roasting the Boston Celtics was well received.
