There is a disgruntled Memphis Grizzlies player after tonight’s game vs the Golden State Warriors. He blasted the NBA referees for “f*****g up calls” during the game at the Chase Center. Though the Warriors were stacked with a series of technical fouls, Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks may have wanted them to get more than that.

Brooks was targeted by Warriors star Klay Thompson. While Thompson got a technical foul, Brooks believes the referees were the reason behind it.

According to Drew Hill, Brooks said, “Refs let it happen. He was doing it all game…F*****g up calls and putting the wrong guys at the free throw line. It was a circus“. He added that there should have been different referees tonight. The game ended with the Warriors taking the win 123-109.

Klay Thompson had a different view of it, and relegated their exchange to “good ol’ fashioned trash talk“. The four-time NBA champion said that he forgot about the no-taunting rule and added, “I didn’t think it warranted a technical“.

During the game, Thompson hit a shot over Dillon Brooks, who fell to the ground in the momentum. The Warriors star took this opportunity to rub salt in his wounds. He taunted a fallen Brooks, galloping around him. The now-viral moment has surfaced many questions regarding the referees’ calls, and Klay Thompson and his apparent beef with the Memphis Grizzlies player.

Thompson finished the game with 24 points and 9 rebounds, while Brooks posted 13 points and 3 rebounds.

Before tonight’s game, Brooks was vocal about playing against Klay Thompson. Dillon Brooks also got a taste of sour medicine from another Warriors star, Draymond Green. During the game, Green held up four fingers toward Brooks, signifying the Warriors’ four titles. Draymond Green was also seen in a jubilant mood when Brooks missed a technical foul shot. Before Jordan Poole got ejected, even Poole had a thing or two to say to Brooks.

Despite the six calls that the Warriors had to take on as opposed to the one technical?the Grizzlies had to bear, Dillion Brooks was still unhappy.
