Back in 1998, Patrick narrated his encounter with Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson. Patrick told Jordan that it was a shame he had to retire as he wanted to guard him on the floor. And Jordan snapped back with a classic reply.?
This was after Jordan had won his sixth and final NBA championship. As soon as Patrick told him that he wanted a piece of him, Jordan said, “How would you guard me motherf****r?? And Patrick went and put his forearm at the center of Jordan?s back.
MJ had a cold reply for Patrick saying, ?Is that all you got? You’re lucky I’m retiring.? Patrick was in the middle of a commercial during an interview with Jordan after the game. He was in his suit and tie and tried his best to give the impression of guarding Jordan.
But Jordan wasn?t impressed. He gave Patrick a stare and walked out of the door after it. Patrick mentioned that he should?ve done a better job of guarding him by grabbing his shorts if he had the chance.

Jordan was without his shoes, in his socks with his jersey tucked out. He was covered in champagne and had the game ball in one hand and a Cuban cigar in the other. Yet he was ready to go at it.
