Is Stephen Curry Playing the 2023 NBA All-Star Game Amid Warriors GM’s Uplifting Injury Update?

It is no secret that NBA superstar Stephen Curry is the driving force behind the Golden State Warriors. Despite this, he garnered the second most All-Star votes from the fans because of his massive performances whenever he was fit. Recently, Warriors GM Bob Myers gave an update about Curry’s return ahead of the 2023 NBA All-star game.

Stephen Curry suffered partial tears in two lower-leg ligaments and has not played since February 4. Bob Myers recently talked about the four-time NBA champion’s situation. According to a report from Sports Illustrated, “I’m here at the facility, [Curry] is here rehabbing,” Myers said. “Steph is so uniquely disciplined and motivated without anyone telling him. His level of discpline to return, is his own. He wants it. He wants to be back. He will return as soon as possible.”

Despite the positive update from the Warriors’ GM, Curry will not play in the All-Star game because of his rehab. The Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant is all set to take Curry’s starting spot. Furthermore, De’Aaron Fox, Pascal Siakam, and Anthony Edwards will replace Curry, Kevin Durant, and Zion Williamson on the rosters as reserves.
